COMMON Pitch Chile took over Santiago with a three-day epic event and competition in celebration of entrepreneurialism that would better the world. Hundreds of entrepreneurs submitted their innovative and creative ideas on how to make mula while changing the world! The events included workshops with Tom Chi from Google X, Key note speech from Vice President Al Gore, performances by Devandra Banhart, and a competition judged by key people involved with the biggest brands in the world including BlackBerry and Virgin. The grand prize winning team developed a life changing filtration tube and helicopter drop method to bring water to areas damaged by catastrophic natural disasters. The team won a cash prize and became an honorary COMMON product.
