In celebration of the launch of the NEW Ray-Ban Folding Aviator, exclusively at Sunglass Hut, NCompass transformed a 20’x20’ footprint in Herald Square Plaza, NYC that included the world’s largest pair of Aviators! To promote the event, in-store signage (counter cards and postcards) were designed and distributed to Sunglass Hut stores in Herald Square, Sunglass Hut at Macy’s Herald Square and the Fifth Avenue location. Brand Ambassadors distributed Ray-Ban Folded Aviator premiums, showcased the Ray-Ban Folding Aviator video to consumers and took photos of consumers in front of the oversized Aviators (through a specially designed app) that was sent to them via email and then could be automatically uploaded to the consumers’ Facebook and/or Twitter accounts.
To drive additional traffic in-store, Brand Ambassadors conducted a paper airplane folding contest where consumers had the chance to win $25 Sunglass Hut gift cards. To generate additional excitement for the event, special guests Andrew and Andrew hosted the event, encouraging consumers to have their photo taken by the world’s largest pair of Aviators and to participate in the contest. They drove in-store traffic and used their DJing talents to keep the energy high.
